Consultation-conseils pour l'epilation et guides de formation

Pour toute trichiasis trachomateux ( TT ) patient qui refuse la chirurgie , l'épilation devrait être offerte , mais le conseil doit clairement discuter du risque pour les patients qui ont des cils touchant le centre de l'oeil si elles ne choisissent pas la chirurgie TT .

( PPCI ) le Projet de gestion Morbidité et prévention de l'invalidité de Helen Keller International a mis en place un guide de deux pages pour le conseil d'épilation pour TT quand un patient a refusé la chirurgie .

IAPB: essential equipment list for screening and surgery for trachomatous trichiasis

The IAPB Essential Equipment list for screening and surgery for Trachomatous Trichiasis (TT) suggests a minimum set of items to perform high quality TT surgery under conditions prevalent in most endemic areas. It reflects the procedures and requirements outlined in the WHO’s Trichiasis Surgery for Trachoma (second edition, 2013) and is aligned with the conclusions and recommendations from the ICTC’s preferred practices Global Scientific Meeting in Trachomatous Trichiasis (2012).
